Hi everybody!
I would very much appreciate your help. A friend of mine sent a SID212EVO ECU for unlocking, and in the process ended up with a problem. I won't name the company which did the unlocking, but long story short, when opening the ECU they ripped a component off the board, which is responsible for the LIN bus communication with the alternator. So he ended up having error code U012D: lost communication with generator 'A' control module...
I have found where the component was ripped off and I have searched for a clear picture of a SID212EVO board, but could not find out what type of component that is. I assume it's some sort of filter like those used on CAN-BUS lines but I am not sure. Maybe someone has at hand a board and can make a clear picture of that area, or even better can tell me directly what that component could be.
I have marked the place where the component is placed in the two attached pictures.
Thank you in advance for all your help!
Cheers!
