I've got a client (mechanic shop) who called us out to reprogram a used PCM for a 2009 E350 Chassis. We used IDS to reprogram the module and everything took however now it shows a code for PATS (P1602, B10DA) The van never had PATS and the antenna ring is not present. This was a used PCM but we've done this in the past no problems (don't let the car see the donor PCM until beginning programming and manually type in VIN), but it's always been a transponder equipped vehicle. Wrong PCM possibly? They sent off the original to be repaired and the company said it wasn't fixable so they got a used module.
