Hi, can some on explain for me dumb.. how single wire (not 3 wire) smart charge system working? Etc i have a car, with dtc for smart charge system failure. Fords known for wire split problems etc. And situation is like this... On output i will show all time 13.5-7v no mather or it is with load or not. If i remove plug from alternator it will be the same output voltage. If i remove +terminal from batery, then output starting to jump rapidly from 13.3v to 14.6v. So qstn is, how single wire to pcm works ? Wana test all before removing alternator from car,as is a bit pain in arse for 1.8 tdci engine
