Hi, please can you advise on PCM calibration update for Lincoln Navigator 12MY(I have never did that before). I have latest official licensed IDS version 123 and I have few questions regarding that:
1. What are my chances to get the PCM bricked by VCM-2 clone (I purchased recently the "full chip" clone with a blue power socket with no hot glue on it, it connects and reads DTC on this truck fine, but self test in VCI manager ends with an error)
2. I need to do this due to transmission concern. I know that TCM module does not exist on this truck, and transmission is being operated by PCM. So after calibration upgrade, what do I need to perform in IDS to reset tansmission adaptive tables? Do I need to select PCM -> Reset KAM or I just need to select Transmission -> Reset adaptive tables
Thanks!
